Our boutique Aveda studio is nestled in the glorious Alpine region of Victoria. Located at shop 1, Big Muster Drive, (opposite the DP pub) Dinner Plain Village, Victoria, Australia. We officially opened in 2006 as part of the luxurious Dinner Plain Central Spa and Retreat. With over 20 years experience in the hair and beauty industry Adele Walker owns and operates Myabi Hair Design year round.
To find us, follow the Hume highway through to beautiful Bright, Harrietville and finally up the mountain to Mount Hotham. Or try the guaranteed snow free path taking the Princess highway south of Melbourne to Bairnsdale, Bruthen, Omeo then straight to Dinner Plain. Approximately 5 hours from Melbourne either journey will take you on a breath taking adventure meandering through Victoria's famous high country.
During our popular June to September Snow Season Myabi is open Monday to Saturday. Local transport is available from Mount Hotham to Dinner Plain saving you fuel, eliminating the hassle of digging your vehicle out of the snow and the stress of finding a park. So take advantage of our local bus service for easy access to our Alpine village.
Qantas have now scheduled direct flights from Sydney to Hotham airport, only 10 minutes from Dinner Plain along the Great Alpine Road. Despite our remote location our exquisite Alpine village is open for you to experience year round, Snow season, Christmas, New Year, school holidays and Easter.
Once the Snow season closes, Myabi's operating days are reduced to Thursday, Friday and Saturday however, we continue to be available for Weddings or any special occasion also servicing our regular Aveda Clientèle. Due to minimal staff during this time, we are only able to service guests via appointment.
